Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at the hotel was an interesting mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms were spacious and provided a good view of the Gulf through Global Connections, allowing for a comfortable settling in. However, the decor was rather outdated, which could use some modernization. The service, with the exceptionally friendly Vacasa check-in clerk and responsive and polite staff, was a highlight. On the downside, there were moments when staff members were seen arguing over who would take the order in front of us. The location, directly on the beach, offered a spacious feel but had some scattered band-aids and diapers, detracting from the overall cleanliness. Accessing the hotel required crossing a bridge, adding an inconvenience, especially with long waits for elevators. The dining experience in the restaurant, with the homemade marmalade, was satisfactory. Despite some negatives, the hotel's facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay.
I had a wonderful stay at Tidewater Beach Resort! The rooms were excellent, and having the covered garage parking was a huge plus. The hotel is in a great location, near Pier Park, Walmart, Target, and other shopping areas, making it very convenient for families. However, the beach area was so crowded that it felt like a maze to even get to the ocean.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the rooms provided everything anyone would need, including a tent for the beach, they were unfortunately in violation of every single sanitation requirement. On the bright side, the rooms have these large wraparound decks that offer commanding views of the beach, which was a plus for me.
